Jambi, 1 December 2022 - The Jambi University of Government Science Study Program held a Public Lecture with the theme "Messing Indonesia's Future in Bureaucratic Reform Frames & Regional autonomy "attended by 30 university representatives from all over Indonesia. The activity carried out by hybrid began with remarks by the Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Jambi Dr.. Usman., Sh., MH.
The next event was then continued with a presentation from Prof.'s first speaker. Dr. Eko Prasojo, Mag., Cer., PUBL. In his presentation Prof.. Eko Prasojo said that bureaucratic reform was one of President Jokowi's work priorities. Where the aim is to be able to provide more excellent service to the community.
Prof. Eko Prasojo also said that the development carried out must also be accompanied by professionalism in the service sector. And in this case bureaucratic transformation is an important action in building the initial steps.
Then Nazaki , S., Sos., M., SI as the second speaker talked about regional autonomy. That regional autonomy is closely related to state, with the aim of creating a prosperous society.
The purpose of regional autonomy itself is explained by the third speaker Haunan Fachry Rohilie,S. IP.,M.,A. Where he emphasized that autonomy did not just improve the quality of public services, but also how local governments are able to build economic independence.
Furthermore Hamjah Bonso, S.An., M.I.POL as other speakers in this public lecture also emphasized. That the bureaucracy that runs in Indonesia does not escape the criticism of problems such as tasks and human resources that still need special attention.
Then the European bureaucracy was also discussed by Rio Yusri Maulana, S.IP., M.I.POL who also became the speaker. He discussed bureaucracy in Europe which was used as a public expectation in the digital age. Where digital technology has become a major need for society in daily activities. Then inevitably the new bureaucracy must be able to adapt and transform methods in public service management, policy making and public involvement. Because this will be able to give birth to a collective decision making process.
This public lecture activity aims to provide deeper knowledge to all participants. That bureaucratic reform is never ending process, and must always happen and be increased from year to year.
